The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games saw TASS represented in force with a record number of alumni selected to represent Great Britain. Of the 200 TASS-supported athletes who competed, 44 won a medal. Highlights included Helen Glover and Heather Stanning claiming GB’s first gold medal of the Games in the women’s coxless pair, Greg Rutherford’s golden leap on Super Saturday, and Natasha Baker winning double gold in the para-equestrian events.
